Pearland, Brazoria County — Greater Houston.
Pearland is close enough to Houston to commute into it every day and far enough to feel like its own place, which is most of what defines it. Harry works throughout the Houston area, and Pearland is one of the cities where a full remodel means very different things depending which street you are on.
Shadow Creek Ranch and the wave of building that came with it put thousands of near-identical two-storeys on the ground in the 2000s — the same builder-grade kitchens and bathrooms, all aging out at roughly the same time. A few miles away, along the old Townsite, the houses are smaller, older, and mostly original — a 1970s ranch house with the kitchen and bath nobody has touched since it was built.

Both kinds of house end up on the same crew, because full interior remodeling means handling whichever one shows up. What does not change is how Pearland families want the work run: most of the household is commuting into Houston on a schedule, so a start date and a finish date in writing matter here more than almost anywhere else Harry works.
The ground under Pearland is flat coastal plain, and it does not drain fast. That shapes how flooring gets installed as much as it shapes anything else — slab moisture and floor prep decide whether a new plank floor stays flat a year later, not just on install day.
Neighbourhoods we work in: Shadow Creek Ranch, Silverlake, West Pearland, Old Townsite.

Tell us what you want to change and send photos on WhatsApp if it is easier — a picture of the kitchen says more than a description of it. Harry answers, and if he is on a job, Mayra does — in English or Spanish.
